How to use it

1–2 pumps (about 1 Tbsp) per 8–12 oz cup. It's concentrated, so start light and adjust to taste.
  • In your dirty soda. A pump over ice with soda and a splash of cream — sweet, fizzy, zero sugar.
  • In your cocktail or mocktail. Stir into a spritz or mocktail for bright, real-fruit flavour without the sugar.
  • Over your ice cream. Drizzle a pump over vanilla or yogurt for an instant fruit sundae.

SOOoo good!

I bought this because I like the flavour of a coconut, orange and pineapple juice and find that hard to find. Just for fun I put about a tsp to 1/2 a tablespoon in my at home latte. What a game changer. Delicious! Great realistic flavour and not overwhelming. Definetly will buy again!

Not Great but Not Bad Either

Certainly smells and tastes like coconut. I got this with intent of using it for my morning coffee. I am a big fan of coconut flavoured coffee but I find it difficult to ever find them in stores and the one I can find here on Amazon is a little pricey for a bag ($13.35cad/340g). Winners, when in stock, usually in summers only, is $10cad/350g.I was hoping this would match the flavour of the flavoured ground coffee I have tried in the past but I have to admit that it falls a little short. It's by no means bad but it isn't on par either.I do like the idea of of being able to add coconut to other drinks. I have already added some to a cherry coke which wasn't too bad at all. I will try with other drinks in the future while also using it for my coffee when in the mood.Overall this was a good buy. It didn't fully meet the results I was hoping for but it was by no means a disappointment. I recommend it, especially for the sub $10cad price tag. I also appreciate the versatility of using this on anything I desire.I also purchased a 4 pack of pumps that include a rubber stoppers to prevent leakage. That was about $4cad more than this bottle but it does allow for the purchase of more flavours if desired. I have been considering vanilla and natural cane sugar as options.Recommended.

Satisfaite

Moi je n'aime pas les édulcorants alors j'aurais aimé avec Stevia ou sucre ordinaire mais s'était pour un cadeau et la personne à adoré le goût et l'odeur pour ses cocktails.

I’m 56 and Currently Living in a Caffeinated Piña Colada

Look, I’m at a stage in my life where I want to feel like I’m on a white-sand beach in Maui, but my reality is a Tuesday morning in a kitchen that is decidedly not in the tropics.I started adding this Matteo’s Coconut syrup to my coffee with a splash of cream, and honestly? It’s a sensory identity crisis in the best way possible. My brain thinks it’s 2:00 PM at a swim-up bar, but my heart rate and the 'to-do' list on my counter say it’s 8:00 AM and we have emails to send. The Flavor: Usually, 'sugar-free' is code for 'tastes like a laboratory experiment gone wrong,' but this is actually smooth. It doesn’t have that weird chemical aftertaste that makes you regret your life choices. The Experience: When the coconut hits the cream, it’s basically a vacation in a mug. It’s the only way I can justify wearing a Hawaiian shirt during a conference call.If you want your morning caffeine fix to taste like a liquid vacation without the sugar crash (or the airfare), this is your bottle. Just don't be surprised if you start looking for a tiny paper umbrella to stick in your coffee mug.

It’s great for sugar free a little chemically tasting

A little too chemically tasting but still good. There’s only so much i expect out of a sugar free syrup since it’s pretty impossible to make it not taste a little artificial. But it’s good. I want to try the new toasted coconut one. You won’t like this if you’re not used to artificial sweeteners

Review: Matteo's Sugar-Free Tropical Coconut Syrup (750ml)

I recently tried Matteo's Sugar-Free Tropical Coconut Syrup, and it has become one of my favorite additions to drinks and desserts. The flavor is smooth, creamy, and authentic—without the artificial aftertaste that some sugar-free syrups have. Plus, being non-alcoholic makes it versatile for everyone in the family.Advantages I noticed:Rich Coconut Flavor: It tastes natural and blends perfectly into both hot and cold beverages.Sugar-Free & Guilt-Free: Great for those watching sugar intake or following a keto lifestyle.Smooth Consistency: No clumps or separation, which makes mixing effortless.Versatile Use: Works for coffee, cocktails, desserts, and even baking. How and where I used it:Morning Coffee: I added a splash to my iced latte, and it gave a tropical twist without overpowering the coffee flavor.Protein Shakes: Mixed it into my vanilla protein shake for a creamy coconut taste—felt like a treat without extra calories.Desserts: Drizzled it over homemade pancakes and paired it with whipped cream for a sugar-free indulgence.Cocktail Night: Used it in a mock Piña Colada with pineapple juice and ice—everyone loved it!Why it was useful:Helped me create café-style drinks at home without spending extra money.Allowed me to enjoy sweet flavors without worrying about sugar or carbs. Its versatility means one bottle goes a long way for different recipes.Overall Opinion:The Matteo's Sugar-Free Tropical Coconut Syrup is a fantastic choice for anyone who loves coconut flavor but wants a healthier alternative. It’s smooth, flavorful, and works in everything from coffee to cocktails. I highly recommend it for home kitchens, coffee bars, or anyone looking to elevate their drinks and desserts without added sugar.Provide your feedback on BizChat

Quality

I bought this because I've had good experiences with other Mateo's sugar free syrups, and previously bought a bottle of Torani coconut. This is just as good, and way less money.

Very strong smell

Not as strong flavour which works well as it doesn’t overpower everything. Works well in frappes, milkshakes, mixed drinks, etc…

Good to know

Questions, answered.

What sweeteners do you use?+
We sweeten with sucralose and acesulfame potassium — both approved by Health Canada and the FDA, with zero glycemic impact. We tested stevia, monk fruit, and allulose along the way, but found sucralose and ace-K delivered the closest, cleanest fruit flavour.
How long does a bottle last?+
A little goes a long way. The suggested serving is 30ml, which gets you about 25 servings from a 750ml bottle — easy to adjust up or down to taste. Shelf-stable unopened; refrigerate after opening.
How do I use it?+
Add a splash to still or sparkling water, lemonade, or iced tea and stir — an easy way to flavour your drink without the sugar. Start light and adjust to taste.
Can I use it in things other than drinks?+
Yes — it's great in cocktails and mocktails, drizzled over yogurt, oatmeal, or pancakes, and in baking.
Where do you ship?+
Across Canada and to the US. Orders usually arrive within 2–4 business days.
