I buy this to recreate my favourite Starbucks drink! It tastes exactly the same! I have bought this many times already to make that ice brown sugar oat shaken espressos from home.

I bought this flavor because they were sold out of my usual butter pecan. I use this in my daily iced coffee and it is quite nice. I also use it to sweeten my lemon water. The flavors pair nicely. I like these syrups because they dont break my fasts.

Really strong smells better than it tastes

I got this just to see. I’m not into PSLs and all the moneygrab pumpkin stuff, it’s just so icky artificial tasting to me so I simply don’t waste money.But this stuff? I’ve tried a bunch of flavors now - salted caramel, mocha, gingerbread, brown sugar cinnamon, apple spice, and this. This is the best one, with gingerbread being my second. I’m honestly not sure I’ll finish the mocha, but I have a second bottle of it and that’s some significant money wasted. This one is so good that I spotted the box of 6 for the price of 4, and jumped on it immediately.This does not have that “pumpkin pie spice” overwhelming artificial taste to me at allllll, which is the primary reason I don’t go out for PSLs and all the rest, it just tastes so artificial and too strong, and I grew up sneaking toast made with sugar and pumpkin pie spice when I was grounded from sugar, because I love actual pumpkin pie spice.This doesn’t really taste like pumpkin to me, either.It isn’t that it’s overwhelmingly vanilla, either. I can’t describe what I’m tasting except for what it isn’t. It’s a flavor that is absolutely present but doesn’t make you feel like you can still taste it, smell it, or like your pee’s gonna smell like it once you’ve taken your sip. It doesn’t come across artificial to me at all.While it reads as neither pumpkin pie spice nor pumpkin to me, this is just GOOD. I use 3 pumps for 1 cup of black coffee and 1/2 cup of sugar-free vanilla almond milk, and it’s sweet but not tooth rattling sweet. I’d suggest starting at 2 and seeing which way you want to go with it.If you want PPS or pumpkin, you won’t find it here. But you WILL find what is, so far, the best I’ve had from Matteo’s. Don’t hesitate if you have had others from them and are wondering if your taste buds have given up the ghost or Matteo’s is too faintly flavored to really make you notice a difference in flavor from syrup to syrup.
